Feature Surveys / Rescode Surveys

Feature surveys or rescode surveys are undertaken to record the specific features of a site and adjoining properties to produce a site plan. They are required as part of building documentation (drawings) and are usually done at the same time as a soil test. All relevant site features such as ground contours, service connection points, trees, existing houses, fences etc. on site are identified recorded. The features or adjoining properties, setbacks and window locations of adjacent buildings are also logged.

Our feature surveys are completed in house using robotic total station equipment ensuring an accurate and complete survey. Once the survey fieldwork has been completed we then produce an accurate site plan for use by your building designer to produce architectural drawings. We can provide finished plans in printed form or digital format for loading into other CAD software packages.
